Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in screening and evaluating potential investment opportunities (mainly equities and investment funds)
  • Monitor financial market and present market information update
  • Draft investment recommendation report
  • Explore and analyse new investment opportunities that meet the Company’s requirements
  • Assist in monitoring the company’s portfolio, both managed by external asset managers and in-house portfolio. Assist in post-investment monitoring
  • Coordinate with external investment managers, reconciliations and analysis of the investment reporting information between the external investment managers and the Financial Control Department
  • Monitor, review and enhance investment management reports on a regular basis
  • Coordinate and provide information to Financial Control Department of investment reporting
  • Provide summary of monthly portfolio updates in compliant with Investment Guideline
  • Regular monitoring of In-house equity portfolio and produce analysis reports
  • Identify potential investment risk and make suggestions to senior management
  • Prepare investment documentation and presentation for Investment Committee
  • Take the meeting notes
  • Follow up the decisions made and activities logs
  • Assist in analyzing market exposures and develop hedging strategies to manage ALM risks, including use of derivatives
  • Trade execution: Gather quotes from different authorized counterparties and execute using the best quote available
  • Monitor hedging cost before and after derivatives implementation
  • Follow up capital market development and report to senior management on a timely basis
  • Regular market update
  • Assist in monitoring the existing portfolio according to risk policies, e.g. counterparty risk, interest rate risk, market risk, foreign currency risk and ensuring sufficient liquidity
  • Assist the team to complete ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree from a prominent university
  • 3-4 years relevant experience
  • Strong language skills.
  • Knowledge in Bloomberg
  • Proficient in written English and Chinese
  • Good Excel skills
