Job Description

My reputable client is looking to hire an IT Audit Manager to join their talented APAC team.

About the responsibilities:

  • Develop risk-based audit programs to evaluate the risks and controls over the Company's IT operations
  • Work cohesively with business auditors and support operational audits with analysis using Computer-assisted Audit Tools ("CAAT")
  • Identify key IT risks, draft and report audit findings promptly to management, and provide practical solutions
  • Assess risk and controls on new systems and perform pre & post implementation audits where necessary
  • Provide regular updates on key IT developments which may impact the annual audit plan
  • Follow up rectification progress of audit findings, assess residual risk and confirm closure after verification

About the requirements:

  • University Degree in Accountancy, Technology or related discipline, with CISA-qualified /other key control certifications
  • Minimum 3 years of IT audit experience in multi-national companies and/or Big-4 accounting firms
  • Specialised audit expertise in IT areas such as networks (e.g. firewalls, routers, switches), operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX), databases (MS-SQL, Oracle), mainframe (AS/400), security software and client-server technology
  • Well-versed on CAAT tools (e.g. ACL)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
  • Frequent travelling is required
