Job Description


  • Manage daily operations of various support services according to the SLA and HKMA requirements.
  • Driving incident resolution, technology or process, across technology teams, stakeholders and management where required.
  • Support and promote a culture of continuous monitoring by recording and publicizing a services performance against stated SLAs.
  • Maintain production stability by implementing best practice, enterprise standards, governance and well-defined processes (ITIL).
  • Ensure all applicable non-functional requirements are completed before delivering service in live.
  • Responsible for enterprise change management and proactive in incident management.
  • Act as primary coordination point for service issues escalated.
  • Support the cross functional teams with the transition to live, such as service acceptance process.
  • Drive process improvements and provide documentations for changes.
  • Cooperate with other IT related teams for operation and project delivery.
  • Be accountable for the Service Excellence and Problem Management processes.
  • Facilitate regular capacity reviews.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for performance tuning, improving operational integrity or reducing costs.
  • Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with internal control standards.


  • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT operations management in banking industry or financial institutions.
  • Preferred Certification such as ITIL Expert, Certified Agile Service Manager, Certified Agile Process Owner.
  • Sound knowledge of ITIL, Agile and DevOps including experience of Incident Management, Problem Management, Change and Release Management, Vendor Management, Migration Control and Automation.
  • A proven track record of developing and delivering service improvements.
  • Proven and extensive experience of service management and application production support with knowledge of service recovery, incident and problem management.
  • Experience using service management, service monitoring, knowledge management, communication and workflow tools.
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment.
  • Strong decision maker and proactive self-starter
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to deal with complex and technical data
  • Strong knowledge of HKMA requirements is desirable.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and Chinese, both Cantonese and Mandarin.
