Job Description

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in planning the IT operation arrangement;
  • Monitor morning or night operations activities;
  • Report operation risk to Manager;
  • Provide day-to-day support and administration for application systems to in-house users;
  • Provide technical support service for all departments;
  • Able to work on shift duty (0730-2300) to perform the systems operation (e.g. batch job running, data and applications backup, systems health check);
  • Identify requirements, analyze and offer solutions to end-users and business operations;
  • Troubleshoot on PC, network & systems problem;
  • Hands-on skill to support the network, systems and applications;
  • Assist inventory and asset control;
  • Identify the operation risk and control the operation quality;
  • Regular report and review the operation procedures

 Job requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant support and operation experience in Investment Bank System;
  • Degree in computer studies or related disciplines;
  • Holder of Microsoft / ITIL Certificates are desirable;
  • Perform system operation works (e.g. Finance trading system, data/systems backup);
  • Familiar with Microsoft products;
  • Basic programming skill;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Good understanding in financial / investment products;
