Job Description


  • Engage to new and existing client to explore business collaboration on variable e.g. Blockchain solutions, data analytic reports and value added commercial analytics tools and variable digital solutions towards business partner.
  • Collect data and business requirement to formulate business proposal - in terms of logistics and data solutions, commercial terms and tailor service etc.
  • Accountable for handling business development projects, business evaluation & analysis, markets/feasibility studies relating to company’s directions/focus/all business priorities.
  • Negotiate business deals and contract terms with potential business partners.
  • Conduct market planning/research, track and collect market intelligence in timely and quality manner.
  • Conduct market research, track and collect market intelligence in timely and quality manner.
  • Participate in project team in helping new business launching into Zuellig daily operations.
  • Create a pipeline that contributes towards the annual target including total contract amount and expected margin and financial acceptance level.
  • Create new revenue streams on top of our core business warehouse and distribution on Data Analytics and any other new innovative service initiatives applicable to the territory market dynamics.
  • Participate in external association and relevant events to build up contact for new business.
  • Provide reporting on KPI achievement and client status of each business opportunities.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as required.


  • Degree holder, preferably in business and/or logistics disciplines.
  • 3 years’ relevant experience in business development and or commercial operations e.g sales and marketing is preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical sales and marketing experience is highly preferred.
  • Good business sense and planning & organization abilities.
  • Outgoing and willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Strong sense of ownership and commitment to task and time.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently.
  • Good at communication and experience in negotiation on commercial settings is with advantages.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese (including simplified Chinese) & Mandarin.
  • Business travel will be necessary.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Business Development Manager (Data Solutions).
