Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Vice President of Commercial and Consumer Engagement (CCE) Systems in the IT Department, the Project Administrator will offer Finance/Accounting support for the department’s projects. He/she will record and track (financial) data, according to the PVH and project policies for the assigned strategic initiatives. Work location for this opportunity is Hong Kong; with minimal travel to other Asian countries as needed. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to gain hands on experience in an International growth market.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Create monthly and ad-hoc reports such as budget vs. actual, variance, budget vs. forecast, etc. for strategic program under the guidance of VP CCE
  • Maintain asset list of PVH provided equipment to all strategic program consultants; and, ensure that these are returned when consultants leave the project
  • Participate in monthly budget/estimate review with Corporate IT Finance and, Asia Finance
  • Record, reconcile, maintain and monitor financial activity on a daily basis. These would entail purchase orders, goods receipt, invoices, payments, etc. for the strategic program
  • Verify travel and expense claims against PVH Asia policies and flag deviations to Vice President of CCE Systems
  • Map and document procedures and policies in collaboration with Corporate Finance IT, Asia Finance and VP CCE Systems
  • Identify and suggest opportunities to improve and streamline current process
  • Follow up on inquiry related to invoice, receipts and payments
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • At least 3 year in a finance and accounting functional role
  • Hand’s on experience of book keeping, invoicing management, preparing forecasts, financial reporting
  • Knowledge of IT and systems is a plus
  • Retail industry experience is a plus

Education: University graduate in in Finance or Accounting, business management or related field

Skills:

  • Possess knowledge of general accounting & finance principles
  • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
  • High energy with a can do attitude
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; have the aptitude and ability to quickly learn various systems
