Job Description

DB Results is currently looking for Business Analyst to work with our Insurance Clients in Quarry Bay, in support of insurance related projects. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Propose feasible business solutions and optimize solution delivery for business initiative/product implementation/project and/or operation production problem fixing independently.
  • Provide independently business analysis service and/or process review to support business initiatives/project execution and/or operations production system related issues
  • Create the backlog, write the user stories to reflect UX/UI design elements, liaise with development and QA teams and provide ongoing support/clarification
  • Lead the collection analysis and/or documenting business needs and requirements in a complex environment and/or small-medium scale projects
  • Liaise with end-users and IT delivery partners to facilitate alignment of understanding of requirements between business and IT
  • Analyze data and tackle pain points in order to enhance the digital experience across platforms
  • Conduct gap analysis and support IT feasibility study from business perspective
  • Engage in business solution design and apply operation knowledge to contribute alternative solutions
  • Drive requirement gathering activities & support the development of customer journey via interviews, workshops and meetings with stakeholders
  • Evaluate business solution options in terms of cost, timeline and quality (fit-for purpose)
  • Manage to execute user acceptance testing including test planning, execution and defect management
  • Prepare training materials and conduct training to end users
  • Act as solution advisor to business users in solving business process and coordinate with technical teams on system problems
  • Lead to coordinate with IT partners on solution delivery for simple enhancements

Competencies and Experience Required 

  • Over 3 years of BA experience in Insurance / Financial Services Industry is a must. Candidates with experience in website / mobile app development projects / digital product launches will have advantage. More experience will be considered as BA / PM. 
  • Previous agile project experience is required 
  • Proven track record in specifying user requirements and managing User Acceptance Testing and Implementation Verification Tests
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with being organized, structured, assertive are required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English 
  • Degree qualified, preferably in Business, IT, Operations Management or related disciplines
