Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Regional Account Director / Account Manager in working with colleagues from OMD offices across APAC. Tasks to include developing, implementing, and maintaining media communication objectives, strategies, and follow up across all types of media.
  • Assist Regional Account Director to develop regional digital strategy and recommendations including research, planning, negotiation, implementation and analysis. The types of plans and budgets will vary greatly and will require work with all different digital mediums (local HK and other countries medium and international digital mediums), including search, display, mobile and more.
  • Take part of the regional account management role includes communication, co-ordinations with client and appointed agency for APAC region. Works include briefing, alignment and co-ordinations between all parties, also collate and compile media plans, budgets, flowcharts, POVs, and decks, generate and maintain competitive analyses. Work with calculations and other quantitative data.
  • Review and verify media buys to ensure proper execution.
  • Frequently contact client and other agencies in the region to manage and execute requests.
  • Meet with vendors to stay on top of all advances and offerings in digital media.
  • Experience with emerging digital media, such as search, mobile, social networking, word-of-mouth and more.
  • Extensive knowledge in performance marketing through Google AdWords and Facebook Business Manager platforms.
  • Ability to assess campaign progress strategically and optimize accordingly.
  • Excel at using data to drive constant and educated improvement in campaigns.
  • Thrive at using spreadsheets and assessing dashboards to determine trends and understand results.
  • Troubleshoot campaign delivery and performance to ensure improvement over time.
  • Identify up-weight opportunities for new campaigns.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients.
  • Ability to manage, collect and integrate online advertising reporting data from multiple sources including web analytics, ad-servers, and other sources.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of media planning/buying experience preferably. With relevant / SEM / Social Media Advertising / RTB bidding experience.
  • Ability to manage multi-task well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop strong relationship, both internally and externally, and feel comfortable interacting with people from different disciplines, countries and cultures.
  • Must be well organized and have strong quantitative/analytical skills.
  • Must be numerate and have strong attention to detail.
  • Interest in learning new trends and developments in marketing, media, advertising and digital.
  • Importantly, must be passionate about building a career in advertising field.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese) is a must.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Working Location: Cyberport (數碼港), Hong Kong
