Job Description

Prenetics is one of the largest diagnostics and genetic testing companies globally. With a team of more than 400 and with over US$60 million in strategic funding from Alibaba, Ping An Ventures, New World Development and more, the group has been pivotal in the fight against COVID-19. To date, Prenetics has performed more than 2 million PCR tests in Hong Kong and in the United Kingdom. Prenetics works closely with both governments and came to international fame when it helped resume the season with the English Premier League and set up COVID-19 testing operations in airports globally, including Hong Kong International Airport and Heathrow Airport.

Furthermore, the group recently made an acquisition of an Oxford University spin-out company, whom had developed a rapid COVID-19 test, with accurate results in 20 minutes. The group also operates two leading direct to consumer DNA platforms, CircleDNA and DNAFit.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Operation Executive to join our team, to make an impact through strategic execution and engagement of different stakeholders associated with Prenetics’ COVID-19 community testing efforts. This role will be suitable for someone who is eager to develop his/her talents through an intense and fast-paced start-up environment.


What You'll Do

  • Project Execution. Take big picture ideas and break them into actionable steps. Provide clear instructions and training to frontline workers, with presentations.
  • Copywriting. You are comfortable in explaining complex project / process updates in writing which is easy for stakeholders to understand.
  • Develop & Optimise Processes.  Draft and update materials including but not limited to fulfilling operational requirements. Be observant and curious, own processes and constantly explore new and improved ways of working.  
  • Proactively troubleshooting and resolving operation issues. Identify operation issues and perform troubleshooting work across functions. 
  • Cross-department Stakeholder Management. Cultivate close working relationships with cross-department stakeholders to ensure resolution is communicated down the pipeline in a clear and timely manner. Build and maintain a professional relationship with key internal and external partners in a proactive manner.
  • Coordinating project planning and implementation.
  • Utilise performance tracking tools to share key insight and knowledge with the wider team in future project initiatives. Support creation or adaption of toolkits at different stages of project implementation.
  • Supporting the Head of Strategy & Operations. You drive project deliverables from beginning to end and deliver the results, including ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Project Lead and Project Analysts

What You'll Need

  • University graduate; 1-2 years of relevant work experience will be preferred, but not necessary
  • Strong project execution skills. You have excellent organisational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks
  • Presentable. You are confident in presenting ideas and providing instructions in a public setting 
  • Detail-mindedness. You have great attention to detail and can independently complete deliverables with minimal supervision
  • Process improvement mindset. You examine current processes and know the right questions to ask to get to better actionable outcomes
  • Curiosity. You love learning how things work and always look for better ways of doing it
  • A strong sense of empathy. You will be an excellent advocate for Prenetics’ customers and are passionate about the community experience
  • Being Flexible. You are excited to cope with uncertainties and challenges. Enjoy working under a lean team with high flexibility 
  • Comfortable working with advanced Excel formula and functions
  • Good spoken and written English and Chinese
Remuneration Package
  • Basic Salary: HKD16,000+
  • 3-month contract (superstar will be offered extension contract or other promotional opportunities)
  • 5 days working schedule per week (including weekends)
