Job Description

We are looking for capable and independent individuals to join our tunnelling team in Hong Kong and become part of the multi-disciplinary tunnelling team covering Hong Kong, East Asia and South East Asia regions working on exciting underground projects across the region.

  • Degree in Civil / Geotechnical / Mining Engineering or related discipline
  • Corporate membership or Professional Engineer of relevant professional institute(s) and at least 3 years of post chartered experience
  • Minimum 5 years tunnelling or underground works design experience for hard rock as well as soft ground tunnel design & minimum 2 years on site supervision of tunnelling works for Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) or drill and blast tunnelling for hard rock tunnels and / or caverns
  • Proficient in analysis of the ground and rock loading conditions, groundwater and construction loadings for temporary tunnel support and permanent lining designs
  • Self-motivated, team player, proactive and willing to learn and take responsibility for timely delivery of tasks and high quality outputs. Moving towards leading a small team of like minded individuals
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Project Engineer or Engineer.
