Job Description

Assistant Accounting Officer (Ref No: HKCSS/022/2021)

Two-year renewable contract

Handle full set of accounts including daily accounting operations (issue invoice, prepare cheque and monitor the payment settlement), month-end and year-end closing including preparing various financial statements, management and project reports, annual budget, annual tax returns, etc.

Prepare and assist supervisor in monthly payroll, annual audit schedules, and provide appropriate follow-up actions

Provide administration support to the Accounts Section

Handle and assist any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines (ACCA/HKICPA Qualification Programme registered student or equivalent will be an advantage)

Solid experience in Accounting with knowledge in full set of accounts is a must; applicant with at least 5 years’ experience in Accounting within which 2 years’ at supervisory level preferable

Stable, self-motivated and willing to learn, well-organized, detail-minded with strong sense of responsibilities, good interpersonal and communication skills

Proficiency in MS office application (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and particularly in Excel) is required

Actual experience in using FlexSystem (Accounting System) and AlphaHRM (Payroll System) software will be an advantage

Good command of written English and Chinese and spoken English and Cantonese

5-day work per week. 15-day annual leave.
