Job Description

Korean International School is seeking a Chinese teacher (Korean Section)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Design Chinese courses suitable for students of different levels
  • Cooperate with other teachers to discuss how to improve the teaching level and provide students with better teaching quality
  • Plan Chinese related cultural activities to facilitate the learning of the language
  • Select relevant resources and digital tools to support and enhance Chinese learning
  • Develop appropriate assessment tasks, providing timely and effective feedback that enhances pupil’s Chinese learning
  • Contract Period: 16 August 2021 to 31 August 2022
  • The contract can be renewed after initial 1-year contract according to the teacher’s intention and school’s decision.
  • Working location: Sai Wan Ho
  • Working days and hours: Mon. to Fri., 8:00am to 4:30pm


1. Required

  • Bachelor degree in education or bachelor degree in any subjects with PGDE or equivalent
  • Native Putonghua speaker
  • Permitted teacher or Registered teacher in Hong Kong EDB
  • Minimum 2-year experience at a School as a Chinese teacher
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills – Responsible, well-organized, Stable and punctual 
  • Must have a HK Permanent ID Card and/or working permission
2. Preferred
  • More than 3-year experience at a School as a Chinese teacher
