About the job

A Logistics Supervisor essentially oversees the shipping, import/export, delivery and warehouse and fleet operation. He/she works in a multi-brand environment, deliver strong responsibility and accountability to logistics operation, warehouse and delivery process set up for own direct retail, wholesalers and/or other sales channels. Logistics Supervisors must attend to many tasks to ensure that goods are shipped and delivered in a timely manner, maintain inventory accuracy, optimize warehouse and maintain communications with retails, carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of merchandise.

Duties & Responsibilities
Operations:

  • Logistics daily operational including handle order replenishment, inbound and outbound shipment, warehouse operation and all related to logistics functions
  • Oversee warehouse operation and fleet team. Be a key stakeholder to solutions such as physical stock-taking activities
  • Optimize processes to leverage logistics and enhance efficiencies
  • Negotiate logistics costs including warehouse and freight costs with 3rd party logistics providers
  • Inventory control at store level, warehouse level and in-transit and keep adequate trace and track stock record

Performance, Report & Presentation:

  • Prepare various KPI, reports and presentation materials
  • Monitor the execution the cost freight management system
  • Approve the freight invoices from 3PL to ensure accuracy and timely manner
  • Monitor key supply chain KPIs & suggest solutions for logistics process improvements
  • Lead data analysis, prepare performance reports timely and assist with budget preparation
  • Establish and manage relations with warehouses, ocean carriers, freight-forwarding, Sales, Customer Service and finance in a professional manner
  • Identify process bottleneck, Suggest and implement solutions
  • Support brands to achieve business goals and optimize profitability
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and communication to deliver
  • Execute and support ad hoc assignment

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree or above in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least 6 years' experience of Logistics industry with 2 years in supervisory role
  • Experience in furniture industry and Logistics service providers is a plus 
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational and customer service skills
  • Passionate in retail industry and ambitious to grow with the company
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong sense of responsibility
  • Multi-tasking, good team player, self-motivated, detail-minded, & able to work independently
  • Proficient in MS Office application, knowledge in Microsoft Axapta and ERP is an advantage
