Job Description

A Senior Project Manager has an influential role in contributing according to the firm’s vision to enhance its reputation and brand. The individual in this role would build and cultivate strong client relationships, contribute to client business activities and exhibit strong technical and operational leadership to deliver quality, effective and timely client-centric solutions. The individual should take strong ownership and be effective and proactive when facing challenges or experiencing major changes. The individual in this role would also act as an advocate for innovation both within the firm and with clients, take on a leading role in developing the team members to their full potential and demonstrate one –firm behaviors to promote collaboration among large teams.

Scope of Key Accountability:

• Key client-facing representative
• Client management and overseeing multi-engagements, projects and priorities
• Project level people and P&L management
• Technical review and sign off
• A coach/mentor to less experienced teammate

Day-to-day Functions:
• Leading project planning sessions
• Coordinating staff and internal resources
• Planning resources, managing project progress and project level P&L, and adapting work as required
• Ensuring projects meet deadlines and required standards
• Managing relationships and expectations with clients and stakeholders
• Designing and signing off on contracts before final approval from management
• Designing and signing off on drawings and technical submissions
• Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
• Overseeing/managing the tender process i.e., reviewing tender requirements, budgeting, technical and cost proposal preparations, etc.
• Designing and implementing risk mitigation plan
• Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
• Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
• Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects
• Driving/leading learning and development initiatives (such as BIM)
• Managing large and diverse teams
• Identifying client-side business growth opportunities

Successful candidates would possess the following skills/attributes:
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Capacity to manage high stress situations
• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
• Leadership skills
• 10+ years of technical engineering experience in healthcare sector (hospital and / or laboratory)
• Big-picture thinking and vision
• Attention to detail
• Conflict resolution skills
