Job Description

Company Description

Our client is a leading luxury group. Continue to expand in the Asia region, they are looking for an experienced internal control talent to take up the Regional Internal Control Manager post.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team to ensure accuracy and smooth operation of sales and inventory accounting
  • Oversee sales record reconciliation between POS and accounting systems, analyze and investigate any discrepancies that are identified
  • Ensure sales proceeds are duly received and recorded on a timely basis
  • Responsible for all inventory movements and ensure the stock and cost are recorded in the merchandising system and are properly accounted for in the financial system
  • Review and assess the provisions constantly in view of the respective market conditions, stock performance and position
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc inventory and sales audit reports and analyses with highlight on exceptions and remedial actions for management review
  • Drive system migration and implementation of new modules, identify opportunities for enhancement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Qualified Accountant, AICPA or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry
  • Experience in system implementation preferred
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, well organized with strong leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese and Putonghua
