Job Description

Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager -  Listing Services is responsible for providing professional services on corporate secretarial matters for a portfolio of local and international clients, including incorporating and managing corporate structures.  This role will lead the junior staff, to streamline processes, increase revenue & productivity and enhance morale.  She/he also needs to ensure that all company secretarial matters of client companies are properly handled.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Hong Kong listed company clients and their private companies
  • Prepare and review documentation such as board minutes, resolutions, announcements, circulars and other corporate publications
  • Take responsibility for technical accuracy of our client work, liaising and coordinating with other professional advisors and governmental bodies as required
  • Handle complex advices and requests from clients
  • Maintain good relationship with clients and intermediaries
  • Be a coach in developing junior staff in the team

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years’ company secretarial experience in large professional firms or law firms or listed companies
  • Good working knowledge of Hong Kong Listing Rules, Companies Ordinance and relevant regulations
  • A member of The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries / The Chartered Governance Institute is highly preferred
  • Meticulous, highly organised, conscientious and able to demonstrate high levels of initiative
  • Motivated by multiple tasks and deadlines, with the ability to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision
  • Good interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, with spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin are essential
