Research Assistant I (holding the functional title of Project Officer) / Research Assistant II in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 503855) (to commence on September 1, 2021 for one year)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology, Social Sciences or a related discipline. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua) as well as proficiency in MS Excel, SPSS and Chinese typing.
The appointee will work in the Hong Kong Jockey Club “Peace and Awareness” Mindfulness Culture in Schools Initiative under the Faculty of Social Sciences. The project aims at studying and promoting mindful school culture in Hong Kong. He/She will be responsible for the smooth operation of the project with major tasks including organizing events, collecting and analyzing data; writing up research reports and non-technical documents; coordinating a team of research interns; handling relevant administrative tasks; and performing any other duties as assigned. Those with higher qualifications and/or more experiences may be appointed as Research Assistant I.
