Job Description

We are now inviting applications for the following posts in the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration:

Academic Support Officer/Assistant Academic Support Officer (Ref: 21000L9)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following: 

  • providing support to deliver programmes offered by the School, including those conducted in mainland China and/or delivered in distance learning mode;
  • supporting committee work and daily activities of the School;
  • assisting in the liaison with both internal and external parties, including overseas partners, especially in relation to programme promotion; and
  • performing any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Applicants for Academic Support Officer are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • a recognized bachelor's degree
  • at least 1 year of relevant work experience preferably with exposure in the tertiary institutions;
  • a good team player and proactive with good organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills; and
  • good communication skills in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Applicants for Assistant Academic Support Officer are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
  • at least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese Languages and Mathematics, preferably with a recognized degree;
  • a good team player and proactive with good organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills; and
  • good communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.

Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package including basic salary, end-of-contract gratuity and discretionary incentive (if any) will be offered to the right candidate.  Fringe benefits such as generous annual leave, staff learning and development sponsorship, medical & dental benefits and life insurance coverage will also be provided.
