Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects in internal control/compliance reviews for our financial services (FS) clients. Experience in risk management, credit risk management, compliance and banking returns is preferred.
  • Assist in developing and improving policies and procedures for financial services clients
  • Monitor the engagement process, including planning, staffing, project execution and dealing with clients
  • Produce quality working papers; draft quality reports and proposals
  • Identify control/performance improvement opportunities for clients and communicate with those in charge of governance
  • Keep up-to-date on FS related news and regulatory developments
  • Travel to China and other countries in the ASPAC region on project basis
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors

Experience:

  • Relevant experience in a professional advisory firm/bank/financial institution in compliance, risk, credit, audit, or financial reporting function
  • In-depth technical and practical knowledge of regulatory compliance for securities, banking and insurance practices

Qualifications:

  • A degree holder, major in accounting or compliance related subject; with professional accounting/internal audit qualification preferred
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills; self-motivated with an enquiring mind
  • Strong management and people skills
  • Fluent in both written and oral English and Mandarin / Cantonese
  • Proficient in use of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
