Job Description

Job Description:

  • Responsible for coordinating the research and development projects of the institute with world-renowned mathematics experts, world-recognized leading biomedical experts, and international leading biosensor experts.
  • Responsible for quality assurance and effective management of clinical projects. Initiation, execution and concluding of clinical trials in China according to a pre-set schedule.
  • Responsible for design and write-up of clinical trial protocols, clinical/case report forms, patient informed consent and other relevant documents. To maintain close communication with clinical experts to streamline the ongoing trials.
  • Responsible for identifying main investigators and trial sites for clinical trials. Make assessments on various cost containments incurred from clinical sites, costs, and time. To implement scheduled trials in target sites.
  • Responsible for establishing Ethics Committee an organise relevant meetings and assisting in commencing all clinical trials.
  • To follow up progress of various clinical projects, conducting audits on test data, problem identification and formulating solutions.

  • Provide guidance and keep surveillance of ongoing test information, including the preparation of dossiers for IND/NDA application.

  • Responsible for clinical team management, conduct training and teamwork building.

  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by Institute Director..

Job requirements:

  • Relevant qualification is preferred. Medical qualification desirable
  • Clinical medicine, pharmaceutical or related background. Doctorate graduate will have advantage.
  • 3 years or above related experience of clinical project management. Senior candidates who responsible for a complete clinical study or have 3 years in leading a team will have advantage.
  • Familiarize with GCP guidelines, and knowledgeable in drafting trial documents and related standardising approach
  • Fully aware of all controlling steps incurred in trial process, and possess ability in conducting TQM and risk management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, responsibility, good people skill and a team player.
  • Strong communication in English & Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
  • Non - HKPR welcome.
