Job Description

A local law firm in Hong Kong is looking for a Junior Legal Secretary to work closely with partners and case handlers, assist them with their day-today needs and dealing with confidential information.

The ideal candidate must be an have experiences within Personal Injuries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to the Personal Injury group as required
  • Answering and filtering telephone calls: liaising with external and internal clients and their secretaries; monitoring voicemail; dealing with queries and relaying messages
  • Incoming correspondence: checking electronic post items; dealing with mail-related queries; electronically scanning and saving post items to document management system
  • Excel Spreadsheet management; input; logging; merging and reporting the data as required
  • Support the legal secretary team with the general biling administration process as directed
  • Support and assist the legal secretary team with the financial administration process, including but not limited to: dealing with disbursement bills and processing third party invoices
  • Other related duties as required

Main Requirements:

  • At least 1 years' related experience in law firms, ideally with experience in personal injuries
  • MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Audio-typing skills and accurate typing (minimum speed 50 wpm)
  • Excellent spelling and grammar
