The Lead Architect within Atos acts as the manager/expert in projects across the solution lifecycle supporting bids as well projects in delivery phases. The Lead Architect role is the focal point ensuring technical integrity and ownership of the infrastructure
architecture within an account project assignment. Working with the client, Technical Engineering and the appropriate Customer Operation units, the Lead Architect ensures a coherent and consistent technical strategy is applied, providing technical direction
and architectural governance on all infrastructure solutions within the account or project. He or she should be aware of developments in Atos technical strategy and innovation processes as these evolve and apply them to the specific needs of the account. This
is to ensure that the client derives maximum benefit from Atos wider experience/perspectives, and solutions and architectures being deployed conform to Atos policies wherever possible.
Experience and Qualifications:
Ø Proven skills in solutioning and designing customer architectures in large scale, complex environments across all major portfolio areas and several nonstandard areas in an environment of 100M Euros
Ø Experience of working for an organization in the IT services or consultancy arena
Ø A solid background in a combination of Infrastructure / Data Center / Networks / Storage / Workplace / Identity / Sharepoint / Unified Comms / Disaster Recovery / Collaboration / Virtualization
/ Sustainability /Security Technology arenas.
Ø Pre-sales skills experience of spotting new opportunities with existing customers
Ø Post-sales skills experience of leading successful technical outcomes and taking ownership of issue resolution.
Ø Good analytical skills and an ability to define and articulate the precise nature of any given situation appropriately to the target audience whether technical or non-technical.
Ø Accreditation in a recognized Architecture Framework.
Ø Experienced in a similar role
Ø Educated to degree level
Ø Proven track-record in international environment or projects; experience working within multi-cultural teams.
Ø Good Leadership skills
