If the answer to the above is ‘yes’ we invite you to apply for the position of Learning & Development Manager in the Organisational Development Department.

The primary focus of this role will involve working with the divisional managers and HR to deliver learning solutions to meet with the Club’s business and people development objectives. You will work with divisional stakeholders in the planning and implementation of digital learning solutions and to integrate technology into the Club’s training programmes. You will understand and interpret needs, design and implement learning and development solutions which cover a variety of methodologies such as assessment of individual development needs, digital learning, training workshops etc. to ensure high quality learning and development solutions and delivery.


  • Work closely with divisional managers and HR in the effective design and implementation of learning and development programmes with customized and systematic approaches.
  • Play a governance role in overseeing the Club’s digital learning programmes; give recommendations on use of digital tools to provide innovative, effective and blended learning experience.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors in the design and development of Club-wide digital learning programmes and to evaluate the impact and effectiveness.
  • Advise divisions/departments on the identification and analysis of learning and development needs.
  • Manage quality of training delivered by internal and external trainers.
  • Facilitate in-house training when required.
  • Lead or participate in other OD projects.

Skills and Experience

  • At least 8 years of learning & development experience in sizeable organisations with commitment in people development.
  • Solid experience with digital learning technologies and managing projects.
  • Hands on experience in training and development, from training needs analysis to training plan formulation and program delivery.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English & Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus.
  • Learning agility and flexibility to work with different stakeholders.
  • Applicants with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.


Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
