Job Description

Legal and Compliance Manager (Asset Management Company; PRC Legal Qualification Required; based in Hong Kong)




  • Assist the PRC Legal Director in handling legal and compliance matters and support to the Company and its various lines of business with a PRC focus
  • Prepare, review, arrange and file legal documents for ongoing operations and transactions
  • Assist to handle fund management and compliance affairs
  • Assist to handle the government regulatory affairs
  • Assist in conducting legal research and providing legal advice on PRC related matters
  • Liaise on internal approvals and execution, and filing of PRC related documents
  • Liaise with external lawyers and agents on any outsourced work
  • Cooperate and assist on any related company secretarial matters




  • Obtained a Bachelor Degree in Law or above
  • Good Knowledge in PRC legislations and legal principles; PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate is a MUST
  • At least 5 years legal-related work experience; Law firm working experience is an advantage
  • Willing to learn, dedicated, committed and attentive to details
  • Good team player, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Good interpersonal skills and commercial awareness
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin (Cantonese will be an advantage)
  • Less experiences will be taken as Assistant Manager
  • Immediate available is preferable
