Job Description


  • • Implement and operationalize the Data Governance roadmap, focusing on data handling, data usage, data curation, and data quality through policy, auditing, and collaboration
    • Collaborate with partners to determine root causes of data quality issues and put preventative/detective controls in place
    • Research and resolve any issues escalated from business and domain areas to the BICOE and report back progress
    • Design and maintain data dictionary/ catalog documents. Identify and maintain data owners and stewards of the company's information assets
    • Define, visualize, and publish data governance and quality KPIs to stakeholders
    • Proactively identify potential data issues and downstream impact of system changes
    • Perform data governance audits to report on compliance
    • Proactively perform data quality audits to find inconsistent data, incomplete data, and rule violations and initiate data remediation efforts


  • • Degree holder in Finance, Statistics, Technology or other related disciplines
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, data quality and/or governance or relevant consulting experience
    • Strong project management skills in managing business data governance solution implementation and delivery of projects
    • Experienced in establishing and successfully implementing Data Governance programs, developing and implementing data standards, policies, practices, and procedures that lead to substantive improvements in data management and quality
    • Demonstrated ability to problem-solving including research, error detection, root cause analysis, error correction, conceptual, analytical and decision-making skills
    • Knowledge of banking industry preferred
    • A strong understanding of information systems, data processing, storage and architecture
    • Knowledge of at least one Data Experience with Quality tools
    • Ability to work independently and strategically, open to tackling new issues and sounding out new ideas
    • A proactive and can-do attitude
    • Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
