Job Description

You will be responsible for:

  • leading a team to develop and implement the fundraising database for the use of whole district and managing the identification of potential new prospects for the West Kowloon Cultural District;
  • providing guidance and coaching to the team to ensure standard of service to new and existing sponsors and donors is matching the agreed expectation.
  • ensuring the development, implementation and adherence to relevant policies and procedures for the team, in compliance with the Donation and Sponsorship Policy and Guidelines;
  • working with General Manager, Development to set annual fundraising targets which in line with targeted activities in the corporate and business plan; and
  • liaising closely with other internal departments for the development of database and creating collateral material to support the fundraising campaigns.

 

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in any disciplines;
  • have at least 5 years of relevant working experience with at least 3 years at supervisory level, preferably in art institutions or other not-for-profit organisations;
  • be familiar with working in a fundraising or sales environment
  • experience in managing complex sales databases e.g. salesforces, and teams, and understanding of fundraising or sales and marketing software will be an advantage;
  • have outstanding presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills; and
  • have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably in Chinese.
