Job Description


  • Proactively provides advice on financial implications of business trends
  • Prepare financial analysis based on actual financial/operational data and future forecasts
  • Design and provide timely executive information, statistic and KPI's to support operational and strategic review
  • Prepare long term business plan and short term budget/forecast
  • Review and amend operation procedures to enhance productivity and operation efficiency   
  • Maintain effective business controls
  • Provide support for customer quotation (including cost analysis and pricing control)
  • Provide support for investment management, including investment return analysis, due diligence, contract review and making recommendation to management
  • Coordinate and manage the implementation and maintenance of ERP and accounting systems
  • Liaise with external parties, e.g. system vendors, advisors, etc.
  • Provide support on key financial reporting issues
  • Handle ad hoc assignments and project


  • Degree holder in Accounting or Finance, preferably with Master Degree on a business area
  • Recognized professional qualification
  • Minimum 8 years relevant financial planning and analysis experience, preferably in transportation and logistics industry, but other industry exposure is acceptable
  • A sound working knowledge of international environment, especially in China
  • Experience in implementing ERP and/or accounting software is a definite asset
  • Exposure to work with colleagues/people in different culture
  • Accuracy and attention to details is essential
  • Strong communication skills in business language
  • Hardworking, self-motivated, work well with colleagues at different level
  • Strong commercial sense and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead, inspire and develop a team of finance staff
  • Result-oriented, pragmatic, flexible and capable to think out-of-the-box
