Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Manager, Marketing (Hong Kong & Macau) plays a key role in developing, implementing and executing in-market brand and trade activities for 5-Hour Energy in Hong Kong. It includes campaigns (print, web, social media, broadcast, etc.), events, corporate responsibility programs and sponsorships. In addition, the person will work closely with the sales team to plan and execute trade marketing initiatives to drive consumption.

The successful applicant is also responsible for managing A&P spent and monitor marketing trends and competitive products in the marketplace.

Job Duties:

      a.Brand Marketing

  • Develop and execute in-marketing plans, consumer activation and campaigns which include ATL, BTL and tactical plan.
  • Deliver brand performance metrics for example, new product brand’s performance vs target/ forecast.
  • Support in marketing presentations and reports, consumer analysis.
  • Manage and deliver all in market A&P spent and claim.
  • Manage and engage in-market agencies for example creative, media, PR, digital, event sponsorship.
  • Manage & execute in-market research (retail audit, brand health, quality & quantity).
  • Lead in-market Brand & ABP reviews.
  • Engage & execute with other business functions (e.g. sales, procurement, production, QC, finance, etc.) for in-market operations

     b.Trade Marketing

  • Propose and execute all marketing and promotional activities and provide support to achieve sales target.
  • Develop multi-channel consumer touch points including point-of-sale materials for retailer and distribution outlets and promotional program.
  • Develop and manage trade marketing activation plans with excellence, competence and meeting retailers’ specific requirements.

Job Authorities:

  • Responsible for in-market brand and trade performance to achieve it’s KPIs.
  • Execution of annual brand plan including merchandising design and sourcing.
  • Management of A&P planning and budget.


  • Minimum relevant University Degree (preferably with minimum 5-8 years working experience in marketing and/or in FMCG industry).
  • Highly fluent in written and conversational English and proficient in spoken and written Cantonese.
  • High proficiency in MS Office particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude and good team player.

Key requirements:

  • Preferably with minimum 5-8 years working experience in marketing of FMCG.
  • Analytical, assertive and influential.
  • Customer-orientated mindset with aptitude.
