Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the valuation team in performing the Hong Kong statutory financial reporting, including solvency monitoring and profit analysis
  • Prepare regular statutory filings and internal management reports
  • Prepare reinsurance reports and monitor settlement
  • Support experience study and assumptions review
  • Support annual budget and business planning
  • Support senior management on ad hoc projects
  • Train and develop staff

Requirements:

  • Qualified Actuary
  • At least 10 years of experience in life insurance industry and 5 years of experience in valuation
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skill
  • Good project and team management skill
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in actuarial software (e.g. Prophet) is a plus
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered for the post of Senior Actuarial Manager
