Job Description

Job Purpose

As the Market Insights Analyst, you will work in a team environment that provides an Amazing Customer Experience. Working mainly with internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing new business opportunities pipeline, and ensure governance with our internal investment process. Also, you’ll be providing important market insights to support current business growth.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Ensure compliance and governance with all the Company’s investment processes, with a key focus on managing internal stakeholders to comply with the latest investment standards
  • Maintain pipeline registry on sharepoint site
  • Collaborate with the GEO leads and their respective teams on opportunity status for executive / PMO launch team reporting  
  • Training, you will have an opportunity to shine on an APAC stage, telling everyone what we do and sharing how we do things from a new opportunity perspective
  • Reporting, you will report on our pipeline status, sending them to executive management, this requires an eye for detail and someone who continually wants to go over and above 
  • Ensure that all opportunities are executed according to established processes,
  • Work with C-Level stakeholders on a weekly basis, strong communication both written and verbal is a key component of this role
  • Collecting data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations
  • Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices
  • Provide analysis on competitors product branding, customer experience & messaging
  • Compilation of weekly market intel newsletter which includes (market trends, competitors, partners & innovations) 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines
  • 2-3 years in business / research experience (experience in telco, tech, consulting is a plus)
  • Project management / market research experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English is essential
  • Must maintain high level of ownership and be able to achieve deadlines 

 Skillsets 

  • Ability to interact well with all levels of employees, including senior executives
  • Prepare presentations and reports using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and pay attention to detail
  • Business research tools acumen / Strong critical thinking
  • Strong investigative or research skills
