Job Description

The Role:

We are looking for a talented Marketing Assistant to join the MR PORTER Sales & Marketing team to help aid the growth of the affiliate marketing channel globally with a focus on growth in emerging markets.    


You Will:

  • Assist in the implementation of the APAC marketing plan for MR PORTER which includes all key regions
  • Work with the Marketing manager to execute APAC affiliate marketing day to day work for key markets
  • Liaise with internal key channel stakeholders and department in HQ for Affiliate global and regional campaign execution
  • Liaise with APAC affiliate publishers and work closely with them for day to day work – including weekly meetings, regular reporting, monitoring the campaign, exposure clipping, clear communication of upcoming promotions, priority/focus and initiatives
  • Assist in developing and implementing creative and effective marketing solutions across all channels, including on site promotions, search, display, offline media, affiliates, influencers, and social media
  • Assist in the review and post-analysis of marketing activities including, traffic and sales reporting.
  • Assist in the production of local marketing events
  • Work closely with warehouse and shipping teams to co-ordinate the timely delivery of merchandise and marketing collateral to support local marketing activities, including influencer gifting and event product
  • Own the marketing calendar, ensuring that it is updated weekly or when appropriate and circulated to all relevant teams across the business
  • Support the marketing function through competitor and industry research
  • Sit in marketing meetings and brainstorms, taking and circulating minutes.
  • Undertake administrative tasks to support all APAC Marketing Managers, such as Marketing budget tracking and invoicing,
  • Constant monitoring of onsite promotional assets / bug troubleshooting, designer landing pages

  • Analytically minded, with a proven ability to effectively analyse data and develop business insights

  • Well-rounded negotiation skills
  • Customer focused, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability and confidence to liaise at all levels

  • Proven ability to manage timelines and co-ordinate stakeholders for the timely delivery of projects
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to identify problems, demonstrate use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions
  • Proven ability to see a task through to the end
  • Ability to work well as part of a team under pressure
  • Highly professional with a keen sense of personal style
  • Some out of hours work will be required
  • Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
