Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Report to Head of Marketing & Communications. Act as brand custodian to promote the corporate brand through every aspect of marketing & communication activities. Ensure all marketing materials are in coherent with the group brand guidelines 
  • Support in-house development of marketing flyers and product promotion materials using Illustrator and InDesign
  • Review and give recommendations to bi-lingual marketing materials and communications developed by business teams before publication. Draft and proofread communications as necessary to support external and internal communications.

Corporate and Internal Communications

  • Assist to plan and execute corporate and internal communications activities in alignment with business strategy
  • Support and execute marketing & branding activities and events to increase brand exposure in coordination with internal and external parties
  • Draft internal messages for communications and cascade Group’s corporate messaging via various internal communications channels. Prepare and translate corporate and internal communication materials.
  • Regularly update posts on Workplace to ensure timely management of corporate information
  • Review and provide feedback on communications developed by business lines and act as a gatekeeper to maintain the standard of outgoing communications
  • Manage external vendors in producing corporate materials, including corporate literature, advertising and corporate merchandise

Digital & Social Media

  • Work closely with external digital agency to manage the company’s social media accounts
  • Review content and communication touchpoints on a regular basis and suggest ways to improve awareness and engagement amongst customers and distributors

Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Support the preparation work and planning for local CSR project
  • Plan and organize staff engagement activities with HR team, e.g. staff survey/ research, small group discussions
  • Coordinate NGO meetings to facilitate partner selection

Others

  • Support the team in overseeing administrative duties and department’s operations
  • Develop presentations and assist in regular report consolidation

Key Requirements:

  • University graduate in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ practical experience in marketing or communications in sizable multinational organizations
  • Insurance and banking/financial services background preferred
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese (Traditional Chinese)  and Mandarin (Simplified Chinese)
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing, skills in P Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign highly preferred
  • Proactive and open-minded with strong presentation, communication and problem solving skills
  • Good project management skill, able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
  • Independent, self-motivated, organized and detail minded
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and capable of managing multiple stakeholders in a team environment
  • Less relevant years of experience will be considered as Marketing Assistant
