Job Description

A world leading buying office is looking for a Merchandiser (Bags) to join their young and dynamic team.


  • Be part of the Amenity Kit Business Unit (based in HKG) and work closely with the team members to support our Sales team globally
  • Play an integral part in the preparation of customer tenders/enquiries in relation to Amenity Kits and Branded Concept proposals
  • Work closely with the Brands & Design dept. to develop product in accordance to Critical Path Milestones
  • Monitor the development of critical path of sampling and get approval through the Brands Team
  • Drive price negotiation and preparation of costing sheets and ensure accuracy of pricing, terms and conditions with suppliers and customers
  • Work with existing and sourcing new suppliers to meet the tender/enquiry requirements
  • Provide Brand manager & design team with potential savings on new initiatives such as technologies and product development
  • Assist in customer presentations including samples & presentation preparation
  • Ensure first customer order is placed and the details are all correct in accordance with supplier confirmation and take care of order management team, monitor the production status closely throughout the whole production process and minimize potential quality issues.


  • Degree holder in Business Management, Procurement or related studies
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role for an international organization, preferably in the travel-related, or airline industries
  • Product knowledge in Bags items
  • Experienced in preparation of customer presentation materials and costing sheets
  • Independent, proactive, self-motivated, detailed-oriented and responsible
  • Energetic with positive attitude, working in a fast & dynamic organization
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, both written and spoken English
  • Proficient in SAP preferred
