Job Description

This is an interim position is working on product that is licensed by Nike to Fanatics for a period of 6 months.
Summary:  The Merchandiser is responsible for managing the factory through the entire process starting from development through bulk production. This involves coordinating with the Tampa and Hong Kong teams to develop and maintain reports that track development, approvals and production of all styles of the product line.  You will analyze the development progress, consult with management to fix items that are missing deadlines, and recommend corrective action plans.  You will seek advice on complex issues that need to be addressed and bring to management’s attention.
•Manage the team to ensure all merchandising activities are carried out effectively to meet management requirements
•Participate in the daily merchandising activities including product development and bulk production follow up.
•Responsible for product development process to ensure that products meet customers' quality and budget requirements 
•Follow up the from proto / sales samples to pre-production activities with US office and vendors independently.
•Cost analysis & negotiation with vendors
•Monitor sample approval status to ensure on time sample delivery
•Coordinate between vendors, suppliers, overseas counterparts and internal teams to ensure the production & shipment are on the right track
•Work with vendor/factories to follow up testing and fix any potential quality issue
•Coordinate with color team & mill for to ensure on time color approvals
•Coordinate with Quality Assurance team to ensure the quality of products.
•Monitor WIP and manage all reports / working files with vendors for development/production
•Facilitate timely communication with internal and external parties between US office, suppliers and manufacturers
•Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
•Minimum 7 years of solid Sportswear merchandising experience in Knit / Woven 
•Have technical knowledge, strong communication and problem solving skills
•A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to manage, motivate and develop others
•Detail minded and strong communication skills
•Expert PC skills using spreadsheets
•Must be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and unerringly punctual in meeting deadlines
•Willing and able to travel extensively, often to foreign and/or remote locations
•Previous experience in US market 
•Fluent English and Good command of Mandarin
•With less experience will consider as Merchandiser.
