Job overview

Marketing officer is responsible for assistance, coordination and implementation of effective marketing and communication activities.

Responsibilities

  • Handle copy-writing and proofreading for corporate literature, newsletters, reports and researches, press releases, advertisements and related promotional materials.
  • Assist in the implementation of corporate and marketing/PR functions such as conferences, seminars, meetings and media events.
  • Work closely with communication vendors and agencies. 
  • Manage corporate website and intranet, photos and video libraries.
  • Manage marketing database and assist in email marketing.
  • Assist in market research (including special research projects and general online research).
  • Assist in handling corporate sponsorship activities.
  • Support daily routines and general administration.

Requirement

  • A university degree, preferably in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Translations or equivalent.
  • 1 - 2 year’s relevant experience, preferably in professional services or in the field of media or public relations. 
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Marketing Officer.
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Putonghua is an advantage.
  • Familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop. Proficiency in Chinese Word Processing is a must.
  • Good coordination, self motivated, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure.
