Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Assist the team to plan, organise and implement corporate visits and related activities with a view to promotingHKPC’s services to key stakeholders, including but not limited to technology institutions, industry support associations or organisations, secondary and tertiary institutions or NGOs
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external organisations to ensure visitor programmes are implemented efficiently and effectively with quality under tight timelines
  • Assist the team to implement initiatives or engagement campaigns to promote industry activities or programmes
  • Compile statistical or other post event reports or surveys related to industry engagement programmes
  • Provide support to various projects for the whole division as assigned and required

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Communications, Event Management, Marketing, or equivalent
  • 2 years or more relevant experience in event management or marketing is preferred
  • A natural storyteller who understands how to engage various audience
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Customer-oriented, with good communications, interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Well organised, energetic, detail-minded and able to work under pressure and handle a variety of assignments independently
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

 (Note: This is a temporary position for a period of 6 months)


HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting thesuitable candidates. A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
