It operates 24 x 7 to provide functional direction and leadership to the Centre in countries and the Logistics Centre regionally and acts as the primary interface on line haul performance with the line haul providers and with the Aviation commercial group management team.
You also monitor the line haul performance to and from other regions, where the company owned or controlled aircraft are used.
The Role -:
The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:
Reporting to the Operation Director, you will manage teams of supervisors and operators to ensure effective management of transportation in the network service including daily space planning and optimize space allocation on network flights while meeting customers’ requirements.
You will have to ensure timely provision of reports / information in terms of flight performance/incidents, capacity allocation, utilization, and line-haul reports, etc. to optimize capacity on network flights and improve the performance on commercials flights.
You will represent Operation Department in building and maintaining good business relationship with airlines, line-haul service providers / suppliers and negotiating for service performance improvement, flight information updating process and space booking issues.
You will also be required to lead the team (<30 Teammates) in proactively monitoring the inbound / outbound flight movements, providing real-time visibility
of movement through systems, promptly responding to network requests and timely updates of service incidents.
In the event of potential service incidents with transit time impact, you are required to support contingency actions as planned by the regional team in order to keep the impact to its minimal.
