Job Description

Purpose of the Position:

Under general description the incumbent will drive operational excellence via project implementations, application of best practices, and process re-engineering. 

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management

  1. Serve as centralized project management office for Operations department improvement projects , ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget as required
  2. Central contact point between IT & Operations to ensure operations requirements are correctly documented in the required forms according to company policy (URS, CR, etc)
  3. Drive Pipeline of Value (POV) savings via project execution and document the savings of continual improvement programs

Operational Excellence

  1. Drive best practices in systems, processes, and training across Operations departments, working in tandem with respective department heads
  2. Serve as functional expert for continual improvement and methodology such as 5S, QMS, etc
  3. Assist department heads on drafting of improvement plans, projects, and required documentation

Regional Projects

  1. Serve as Hong Kong contact for regional initiatives within the Corporate Operations function
  2. Manage regional stakeholders and projects such as TOP, 5S, and assist on data submission to regional teams & regional engineering teams

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. At least 5 years of operations management or supply chain management experience
  2. Experience in continual improvement, process / business excellence, and relevant methodologies 
  3. Professional degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related
  4. Experience with SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems  

Competencies:

  1. A strong ability to collaborate across different departments and teams
  2. A high level of time management, prioritization and organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task
  3. Proven analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  4. Drive and determination to deliver continuous improvement
  5. Exposure to operating in a fast moving, commercial environment with a strong service excellence
  6. Exposure to procurement initiatives and systems, such as SAP & Ariba
  7. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
