About Our Client (Japanese Business & Accounting Advisory) & Job Description 

Our client, one of the Japanese Business & Accounting Advisory Companies,is now looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team. The job duties are as follows:

  • Mainly participate in clients' payroll projects for MNC clients in Japan;
  • Process payroll and commission calculation in compliance with Japan regulations;
  • Input staff information data into Payroll system and maintenance of staff information in Japanese;
  • Review and responsible for accurate data entries prepared by junior staff;
  • Work closely with our team in Japan to ensure timely and accurate processing and record keeping of all payroll and related statutory filings;
  • Participate in the development of new procedures related to payroll and other business services;
  • Assist in accounting, banking and other administration projects;
  • Other ad hoc project assignments;


  • Degree or above, preferably in a business-related discipline;
  • 2-4 years working experiences, preferably in sizable professional firms; Candidates with less experience(0-2 years) will be considered for the position of Associate;
  • Japanese Payroll knowledge is not required; On-job training will be provided to successful candidate;
  • Strong numeric ability; Attention to details with high level of accuracy;
  • Efficient, willing to learn, hardworking, and positive work attitude;
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
  • Proficient in MS Office like MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Good command of written and verbal English;
  • Interested in learning Japanese is highly preferable.
