Our client is a well-established retail company and the market leader of their industry. Currently they have a new vacancy in the role and the role will help support APAC demand forecast. Their headcount has been approved and is looking for a candidate to join immediately!
about the job.
As a Planner, you will
-Identify sales forecast by reviewing historical trends and apply the best model
-Drive monthly S&OP meetings & focus on demand trend insights
-Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
-Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
-Schedule monthly forecast meetings with all customers as required
-Distinguish opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply
skills & experiences required.
-Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain or other relevant fields.
-A minimum of 7 years' experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
-Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures. Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
-Capability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
-Excellent English skills
-Candidates from retail background is preferred
