Job Description

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a POS Business Development Consultant, you will sell SHOPLINE's cloud-based iPad POS technology to key stakeholders in a wide variety of small businesses. You will interact with all manner of small business owners each and every day, striving to help them run a smarter business. From cold calling to face-to-face demonstration of our unique and powerful software, you'll take full ownership of the sales cycle. Your sales technique involves phone skills and persistence.

 

Already an market leading online shop platform in Asia, adding the cloud POS will enable SHOPLINE merchants to integrate online and offline and enjoy a true online-to-offline (O2O) experience. This creates a unified omni-channel solution for merchants to increase their operational efficiency and sales.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Convert leads to happy customers through good communication, continuous follow-ups with a positive and helpful attitude
  • Improve and optimize the prospecting and closing process with the team
  • Participate in regular offline events i.e. seminars and workshops to demonstrate our product to potential merchants
  • Follow up on renewal, trial and new users on their customer journey
  • Conduct face-to-face meeting with potential merchants if necessary
  • Reach out potential merchants through outbound messages and calls
  • Drive innovative ideas to reach out new potential users
  • Work with consulting team to meet HK monthly sales target
  • Collaborate with cross-border Taiwan team in driving sales insights

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 4+ years relevant experience preferably in Sales field
  • University degree is a must
  • Previous experience in selling SaaS products to potential merchants
  • Quick learner, curious and passionate about learnings and e-commerce
  • Experience in account management, e-commerce, customer services or B2B sales will be a plus
  • Experience in POS related experience will be a big plus
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese, English and Mandarin
  • Self-motivated and drive to achieve sales goals
  • Good public speaking skills will be a big plus
  • Organized and good time management skills
