Job Description

Our client is a sizable System Integrator (SI), and they are looking for the POS Helpdesk / Support  Engineer to join their team; and focusing in provide supporting services to the client from Commercial / Retail / F&B / Banking sector. Please find below details and click "Apply Now" if you think you are suitable for this position.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible of provide daily POS related troubleshoot, support services and maintenance service to the users including Hardware, Software, Network, POS System and related issues; not limited to POS project deployment, and provisde support services in Router Switch / Wifi equipment
  • Assist in remote / on-site support for the POS related issue
  • Perform regular health check of the POS System, including POS machine, Printer, Receipt Printer, Bar code scanner, Credit payment machine, Order taking mobile device, Display, Router, Sound system; to identify the potential risk
  • Perform Log / Ticket system management with follow up action with the users
  • Involve in POS project deployment, include new installation, set-up / configuration and perform User Acceptance Test(UAT)

 

 Requirements:

  • School certificate or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
  • At least 1 year of PC / POS / Hardware / Printers / IT Helpdesk Support or maintenance services related working experience is a plus
  • With Basic knowledge in Microsoft Windows and MS Office is must
  • Experience in IT Helpdesk services with remote troubleshooting exposure will be an advantage
  • Candidate with passion to develop in IT field with less experience also be considered and on-the-job training will be provided (Fresh graduated are welcomed)
  • Willing to learn with ability in customer-oriented, work as a good team player, self-motivated
  • Immediate available is preferred
  • Standby duties is required, with allowance
