Description

• To design premium quality academic enrichment courses for Hong Kong primary school students

• Develop curriculum frameworks and materials creatively for primary level core subjects, whlist integrating life and cognitive skills into the modules

• Research and analyse curriculum requirements, ensure curricula are aligned to official Education Bureau standards and meet specified educational objectives

• Continuously improve curriculum and teaching materials to keep courses competitive

• Oversee the production of learning & teaching materials, while maintaining a frequent communication with production partners both internally and externally

• Support the successful implementation of curricula by providing training, coaching, and other staff development initiatives

• Plan, organise, and deliver curriculum training to Learning Specialists/Trainers, ensuring sound understanding and equipping them to train the teaching staff

• Keep abreast of current trends and best practices in pedagogy and represent the organisation as subject and learning expert

Profile

• A recognised degree or postgraduate qualification in education / training / English / Chinese / Mathematics or related disciplines. Teacher certificate or diploma is preferred
• Min. 4 years post-qualification experience in overseeing or teaching Mathematics, English, or Chinese subjects in primary education
• Min. 6 years curriculum development experience, including experience in creating digital products
• Good understanding of the Hong Kong education system
• Good knowledge and experienced in early childhood education (ECE) and Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
• Progressive thinking and keen to make changes to current HK education scenes
• Can-do attitude with an open mindset
• Prior experience in parents communication would be ideal
