Pixiu Capital plans to hire an associate to their Private Equity team. We have an established track record and focus on private equity investments in Technology and Life Science. We are looking to add a strong, associate to our Private Equity Team that can help build the future success of the platform. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of Private Equity, Investment Banking, and/or Consulting experience.

Role Specific Accountabilities

• Perform due diligence on private equity fund managers including assessing the quality of investment teams, investment strategies, alignment and track record
• Build complex dynamic financial models to analyze fund and secondary opportunities
• Contribute to the development and presentation of investment recommendations based on the team’s due diligence and analysis
• Monitor ongoing performance and pipeline of funds and secondary investments
• Assist with internal projects such as market reviews, portfolio construction, and strategy reviews
• Represent PX Capital externally by building and leveraging relationships with general partners, limited partners and other industry participants to assist in marketing PX Capital and to help source co-investment opportunities and investment opportunities in other groups
• Participate in and contribute to the training and development of colleagues and recruitment

 

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of private equity industry experience, or 4+ years of legal, strategic consultant or other relevant experience
• Strong research and analytical skills as well as superior interpersonal skills, solid, demonstrated communication skills and presentation skills
• Strong team player and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated capability of working closely with team members and deliver quality work under tight schedule
• Demonstrated capability of working effectively with 3rd parties to drive deal execution
• Language capability: Strong command and fluency in English and Mandarin (both verbal and written) is a must
• Consistent demonstration of our guiding principles of integrity, partnership and high performance and be willing to travel extensively
• Good financial modeling and valuation skills will be an asset
