Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

The Diginex group of companies operates globally across multiple jurisdictions across multiple business lines. As Diginex scales, an opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager to oversee delivery of multiple projects of work. This opportunity would be ideal for someone who is already managing multiple projects as Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager.

Further Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a project framework and methodology
  • Actively lead all phases across a portfolio of business and technology projects;
    • Work with Business leadership to define and plan the project roadmap
    • Scope, plan, and document each project
    • Lead project execution, including regular meetings and project updates
    • Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of each project and ensure stakeholders have information to make effective decisions
    • Remove roadblocks to execution
  • Develop and provide ongoing programme reporting, including;
    • Project health status, financial status to plan, risks and issues
    • Overall programme health
    • Resource planning and availability

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years programme or project management experience in banking, insurance or financial services or relevant consulting organizations supporting the financial services industry
  • Experience of establishing project frameworks and methodologies using known standards such as PRINCE2 or Lean Six Sigma
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills, particularly influence and persuasion
  • Able to hold teams and individuals accountable in order to ensure delivery success
  • An ability to communicate, collaborate and negotiate effectively in English
  • A strong understanding and experience of financial and resource planning
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-change, agile environment
  • Ability to produce comprehensive and clear management reports
