Job Description

 Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist HKBIO in programme planning and management to ensure smooth delivery of activities, including the international BIOHK2020 conference to be held in January 2020.
  • To build up and maintain HKBIO’s industry database in order to serve members, professionals, enterprises and institutions in the biotech sector across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
  • To manage new HKBIOmembership applications and membership updates.
  • To keep up regular committee meeting arrangements and records; issue newsletters; seasonal greetings to members and other partners.  
  • To assist HKBIO daily operations including office administration, event arrangement, letter drafting, report preparation and analysis.
  • To assist management in attracting sponsorship to support HKBIO activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Qualification & Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Event Management, Computer Science or other related disciplines.
  • Solid experience in handling database and membership pool, with excellent PC skills including MS office.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning, with multi-tasking capability.
  • With passion for biotechnology, positive, self- motivated and able to think outside the box.
  • Team player, quick learner and willing to take up challenges to meet project deadline.
  • Good communication skill with ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds.
  • Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
  • Immediate availability is highly preferable.
