Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Project Managers and Engineering teams in all matters related to project execution.
  • Coordinate project tasks and review contractual submissions.
  • Produce project documentation and contractual submissions in support of the Project Manager and the Engineering, Quality and Safety teams.
  • Responsible for reviewing, following and improving documentation quality and its consistency where necessary.
  • Liaise and help organise Site Works (manage work rolling programme, review work with Site supervisors and sub-contractors, help arrange logistics when necessary and follow any special arrangements).
  • Liaise with Customers on all maters related to the project (submissions, meetings, inquiries, technical and site liaisons).
  • Support the Project and Engineering teams with following up enquiries or concerns with the work sites.
  • Support in the preparation of Tender supporting documentation.
  • Ad hoc assignments from the company.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in electrical, mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering or project engineering and management.
    Qualification from IVE, with sound experience / knowledge will also be considered
  • Experience in preparing formal documentation for customer submissions, letters and plans.
  • 3-5 relevant working experience in similar fields.
    Experience in railway or related industry is a definite advantage.  
  • Excellent written and spoken English is a must.
    Ability to speak French or Mandarin is a plus.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with all levels of personnel
  • Good organization, creative and problem-solving skills as well as a ability and willingness to learn and grow.
  • Good people management skills: team player, responsible, diplomatic, proactive and able to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Mostly office work but some overnight site attendance will be required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
