Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice on Household and similar electrical appliance (IEC/EN 60335-1, -2);
  • Check and approve all test results given in the test file and reports, prepare test results review report;
  • Sustain & expand accreditation scope of Household and similar electrical appliance (Such as NRTL);
  • Confirm all related household appliance projects orders, allocate and follow up ALL test project, review all supporting documents and reports;
  • Assist the safety lab manager to supervise the daily operation in the laboratory;
  • Plan and control job assignments to subordinates so that high quality of work is maintained within a reasonable turnaround time;
  • Develop the new tests and update the regulations and standard and the technical file of clients;
  • Connect with local association to explore startup, R&D and SME companies;
  • Provide technical and informative support to subordinates;
  • Follow and supervise through QA procedure in complain with HOKLAS, NCB, NRTL etc.;
  • Offer effective training program to new engineers/sales etc..

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree holder in Electronic and Electrical or related engineering;
  • 5 years of practical experience in lab environment with at least three years experience in Household and similar electrical appliance (IEC/EN 60335-1, -2)Active, responsible, able to finish tasks without supervision;
  • Good command of supervisory skills and competent in performing testing service;
  • Good command of English, Mandarin, Microsoft skills;
  • Good understanding of Household and similar electrical appliance and disseminating required supporting documentation as advantage;
