A major motor & mechanical component manufacturer registered in the United States and with headquarters
in Hong Kong and plants in Southern China is looking for a senior management team player to take charge of the Quality Division.
Reporting to the General Manager and supervising a sizeable team of quality staff, including 60 engineers, supervisors and managers, the position will be fully responsible and accountable for the professional operation of quality assurance, quality control,
quality systems, KPI formulation and monitoring of the whole operations.
Overall responsibilities on all quality functions, driving for continuous improvement on quality standards updates and compliance on changing client requirements;
Driving the development and monitoring of department KPIs Responsible for leading the QA team to carry out daily quality control function and define specifications to fulfil customers’
Establish and manage Quality Assurance Function related to engineering, fabrication, services and general support for production, home-built or out-sourced components and parts;
Propose the testing plan, tester specification, inspection procedure and sampling plan; Working with SCM for new supplier/ manufacturer factory auditing, supplier quality control
and performance appraisal;
Deliver accurate and timely quality control analysis report to management and customers;
Work closely with internal departments to make sure quality issues are well resolved; Develop and implement quality-training programs for internal staff.
Degree holder or above in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering with extensive knowledge in Quality Management System;
Min 10 years of solid experience in quality management with a min 5 years in senior management;
Fluent Cantonese and English, with manageable Putonghua;
Solid quality management experience in Auto-related industry;
MUST with knowledge of TS16949; Sound knowledge of ISO system (ISO 9000 and ISO14000, etc.
Safety regulatory requirement, e.g. RoHS, PAH, UL-CSA, UL, TUV, JIS, etc. are preferred;
Strong communication, leadership, analytical, professional ethics and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work under pressure and work independently;
Energetic, self-starter and positive attitude;
Immediate availability is an advantage
