Job Description

Our client is a European based company in luxury sector, regional headquarter in Hong Kong which oversees APAC operation. Due to continued expansion, they are recruiting high caliber for Regional Financial Analyst position / Assistant Manager to join their finance team

Responsibilities:  

  • Provide timely and accurate, monthly and quarterly reporting at APAC region
  • Responsible for Marketing/Product Development/Merchandising Business Areas;
  • Actual figures should be confirmed before month end close for each cost center and ensure figures are accurate.
  • Ensure correct allocation of costs between operating expense and capital expenditures
  • Liaison with other finance teams both within and outside Asia region
  • Analyse KPI reports, sales reports etc to assist business planning and efficiency improvement
  • Work with Marketing teams to set product pricing threshold targets and help analysis and explain deviations from the targets. 
  • Support the Asia Pacific functional and finance teams in the monthly reporting and review of opex and capex with business partners. 
  • Responsible for preparing annual 3 year plan for Categories

Requirements:

  • Over 6 years of relevant experiences gained in APAC region
  • Hands on relevant experience and knowledge in APAC regions
  • Retail industry exposure is ideal
  • Business Advisory Skills - Anticipates and takes initiative to identify customer/client concerns and proposes recommendations as appropriate. Able to interact with the customer/client as a business partner.
  • Expresses thoughts clearly and succinctly, both orally and in writing; able to tailor communications for different audiences; listens well and effectively contributes to discussions;
